Medical Supplies

　　Medical supplies that are sterilized by irradiation mainly cover disposable medical supplies and medical packaging materials, such as gloves and gowns for surgical operations. The irradiation is gradually replacing for steam cooking at high temperature and high pressure and medical fumigation, and shows the advantages as following:

　　(1) The irradiation sterilization is complete, pollution-free and no residual.
　　(2) The irradiation sterilization is a cold method without heating.
　　(3) γ-ray has strong penetrating power, it is not necessary to open the product packaging in processing, which is simple and fast, able to continuous work, and easy for process control.
　　(4) The products after sterilization can be stored for a long term.
