Zhongjin Irradiation Participates in 2012 China (Chengdu) New Energy International Summit and Exhibition

During November 11th-12th, 2012 China (Chengdu) New Energy International Summit and Exhibition was held in International Convention Center of Chengdu Century City. Chairman of Zhongjin Irradiation Zheng Qiangguo, Deputy General Manager Wu Jun, Chen Qiang and relevant personnel attended the summit.

The summit consists of three forums: 2012 Smart Grid Forum, Solar Energy Forum, 2012 China (Chengdu) International Forum for Nuclear Technology Application Industry. Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences Wang Naiyan gave a speech under the title of “The Analysis on the Latest Development and Tendency of International Radiation Processing” on “2012 China (Chengdu) International Forum for Nuclear Technology Application Industry”.

As the invested guest, Zheng Qiangguo attended “2020 Contract Radiation Processing” round-table conference of “2012 China (Chengdu) International Forum for Nuclear Technology Application Industry”. The principal under the charge of Asia Pacific Region of International Radiation Protection Association Yves Renan presided over the meeting. The six guests from the international and domestic influential irradiation processing enterprises including the international large irradiation sterilization enterprise—Sterigenics and Synergy Health were invited. The guests gave opinions on the questions including the future development tendency, growth rate and irradiation price of the irradiation processing industry put forward by the presenter. Zheng Qiangguo was invited to give opinions on 2020 development tendency of the irradiation processing industry. Zheng Qiangguo said, the irradiation processing industry is a rising sun industry, and Zhongjin Irradiation is the domestic earliest irradiation processing enterprise for commercial use of γ and has a history of more than 20 years. There are 10 γ irradiation equipments under construction in Shenzhen, Tianjin, Shanghai, Qingdao, Chengdu and Wuhan. The development history of our company is the miniature of rapid development of the Chinese commercial irradiation processing service. With the rapid development of the Chinese economy and the constant adjustment, optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure, especially “the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China” emphasized that improve the living quality and enhance ecological civilization construction, the public has increasing needs of healthy and safe products, thereby achieving more and more development space of the irradiation processing industry. According to the initial market survey of Zhongjin Irradiation, we think that the future development tendency of the domestic irradiation industry is like that of the developed countries including the USA, the concentration ratio will be promoted, and the large irradiation processing enterprises will be developed gradually. Only by realizing scale effect, can the sustainable, healthy, safe and scientific industry development be promoted. Meanwhile, Zheng Qiangguo gave opinions on the questions including the development tendency, growth rate and irradiation price of the irradiation processing industry in 2020 put forward by the presenter.

In the summit, Zheng Qiangguo talked with the principal under the charge of Asia Pacific Region of International Radiation Protection Association Yves Renan about World Irradiation Conference held in Shanghai in November 2013 and the irradiation processing industry situation in China, Asia and the World, and also talked with sales director of international cobalt supplier—NORDION, Eric Beers and General Manager of domestic cobalt supplier— Zhonghe Tongxing (Beijing) Nuclear Technology Co., Ltd. Liu Jinxiang.

Meanwhile, Zheng Qiangguo was invited by Shuangliu County People’s Government to have a discussion with magistrate Zhou Xianyi about the application of nuclear technology and future cooperation.

18 pieces of thesis are recorded. The two pieces of thesis—Enhance Radiation Safety Management and Promote the Safety of γ Irradiation Equipment and Monte Carlo Analog Calculation of Hollow Fiber Dialyzer Irradiation Processing issued by Zhongjin Irradiation are also recorded.

83 enterprises participate in the exhibition. As one of the exhibitors, Zhongjin Irradiation has promoted the enterprise image, enhanced brand promotion and achieved market publicity and information collection through the exhibition.
